The bed is extremely comfortable, the shower is very nice too, there is a balcony and check-in and check-out are both very quick and simple. It is the first hotel I’ve encountered with a tv that does NOT have an obnoxious stand-by light that’s on permanently! Somehow most hotel owners do not seem to get that having a luminescent red dot hanging over the bed at night is not conductive to sleep, but these people do get it. Room is also properly dark otherwise.

The staff was very friendly, also very good with dogs. Breakfast was basic, but they will make boiled/baked egg or omelette of your choice for you - which was very tasty - and a coffee of choice. On your last day they offer you to take some extra food on the go. The accommodation and rooms were clean and a bit more spacious than I expected. The beds were really nice; my companion said he hasn't slept in such a comfortable bed in a long time. There is a hikingtrail in less than 5 minutes from the accommodation. It's quite the hike for the beginner: 13 km with some steep inclines and declines.

    It would have been great if they’d told us there was a techno festival literally 200 meters from the hotel the night we were staying there. Don’t get me wrong, we love to party too but we came here for some quietness. Just inform your guests… Also, the ‘Forrest view’ really is a view on the parking lot. Look at the pics and judge for yourself :) Finally, asking €40 (!!!) for bringing a dog is absolutely ludicrous. This is always €10 or €15 maximum. Do better, Wohfuhlhotel..!

    The breakfast was incredible, absolutely faultless. The room and furnishings very good. The only disappointment was the Wellness facilities being closed when I arrived at 7.40pm. Surely if a hotel offers such facilities they need to be open at times people are minded to use them. Only a minor gripe as otherwise the hotel and service was good.

    Good location for an overnight break on the journey home from Austria. Large clean hotel a little “canteen like” at breakfast. No restaurant on the day we went but dining options directly next door.
