    Meersburg is one of our favorite towns. It has everything: Medival castle, a fantastic boardwalk on the lake, apple orchards, winyards with a winery, excellent restaurants & bars, boating marina, ferry to other parts of the lake, the list goes on. A very charming and picturesque town.

    Meersburg offers history, great restaurants, great location on Lake Constance and between the different cities and towns around the lake. The town is easy to get around and offers activities for all ages.

    Quaint small town with waterfront area and then upper area where there is a castle. Good base for hikes or biking - wonderful vineyards and orchards. Ferry leaves from here to almost everywhere so easy.

    Amazing 4 days using Meersburg as a base to explore the beautiful villages around lake Konstanz. Meersburg is an incredible medieval town with the oldest inhabited castle in Germany with an intact dungeon. The entire region is surrounded by the lake and vineyards. Lots of lovely swimming spots, plus great cycling and hiking paths. We enjoyed some fabulous meals in Meersburg and tasted some lovely white wines. This area is a hidden gem, lots to see and do. We will be back!

    The old castle is for sure worth a visit.

    The old castle is for sure worth a visit. The oldest museum in Germany. Really great to learn and you get a feeling how life was if you listen to the audio tour. Make sure your cell phone is charged before you start the tour.

    Fabulous location overlooking the lake and away from the main action in Meersburg centre. It’s a very pleasant ten minute walk into town beside the lake. Complimentary cake (excellent) and coffee also provided every afternoon which was a very nice touch. The staff are very friendly and helpful

    Excellent location right in the middle of town, Lovely period hotel and fantastic host!! Breakfast was great! A few stairs to manage and a bit cramped to store bikes but it worked out!
