We loved our stay here. It is a lovely ground floor apartment with wooden beams and nice decor. The host was really welcoming and friendly. It is in a quiet area with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The child swing in the garden was a nice bonus. Equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. Highly recommended!

This is nothing less than a perfect place to stay. The requests I had upon reservation were answered right away. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. And then, whether it be the views, the room and the systems in it or the breakfast, all is perfect. This was one of the rare times when we just did not want to leave the room.

Everything at the hotel was just fabulous. Great location, great food and great rooms at a very reasonable price. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and even gave us a knock on the door to make sure we didn’t miss out on breakfast. Would definitely recommend it and hopefully we will get to visit again! Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely well maintained family run hotel. Great attention to detail. The owner was helpful and spoke Great English. Secure cycle storage. The hotel is well worth the climb up the hill! Excellent breakfast.

    There really isn't much in Mengen: a small main street area, a couple of grocery stores, and a movie theater. However, there were an awful lot of young people just hanging out on the streets, seemingly looking for something to do.

    It had a kettle which was great, the wifi was good and was free. The hotel was 10-12 minutes walk into Mengen and to a number of restaurants although only one was found to be open on a Tuesday. There was plenty of parking giving close access to the rooms.

    A modern hotel with excellent amenities! Everything was clean, and the ample parking made things so convenient. I especially loved the well-equipped kitchenette and the spacious room, which made the entire stay extremely comfortable. Highly recommended!

    I've booked this hotel for my husband who was driving through Germany on a business trip. He said it was just perfect one night stay. The location and the staff just great. Delicious breakfast :) definitely will come back whenever in the area.
