Very nice wine area! Ideal for the wine lover! You can taste red, white and rose wines (including sparkling and dessert wines) with a variety of qualities. we visited a few wine producers in the area and they offered a tasting free of charge without any obligation. We had a nice 5 course degustation menu with accompanying wines in Hotel Weis. It is also worthwhile trying the Flamkuche in the local restaurants. I dont know if it's general that hotel prices are going up in Europe hence my score for value for money - but a little bit pricey - once renovated then the price would be palatable.
