Ilkas Inn couldn't be easier to find. Located in the main street of the town, it's well identified. Parking right in front of the property make the arrival very easy. Friendly welcome made everything easy going. The best surprise was inside. 2 boxes full of toys for the kids. They've loved so much that did not even want to go out to eat. The place is simply huge. Kitchen is prepared for basic cooking and enough for a nice breakfast. Don't miss reading the visitors record booking in the apartment. It's lovely. Nice is the swimming pool close (walking distance) to the apartment. For a few euros one can have a lot of fun!

We were right in the middle of the old town. The beds were very comfortable. Supermarket was only 5 mins walk away.

    A lot of nice restaurants.

    A lot of nice restaurants. Everything in walking distance and parking was easy (or maybe we got lucky). The old city center is really beautiful. Parks to let children play are available. Also easy access to bigger supermarkets and other types of stores.

    A German friend recommended we add this gem to the list of places we planned to visit. It was fantastic. Small town. Mostly locals, but you could hear the occasional smattering of English speakers here and there. We loved the Christmas market here. We got reservations at Drei Hasen for dinner. The rump steak was delicious. Trout, boar stew, and schnitzel were also top notch. We wandered the town to see the historic Rathaus, architecture, thieves tower and more. We also headed to Erbach to tour the castle and visit the ivory museum. Maybe a 10 minute or less drive. There is not an English speaking tour at the castle but they do have a written guide if you need one. The ivory museum has an audio tour in multiple languages that’s free with your ticket. I really wish we had scheduled more time here. It was absolutely worth the stop.

    Good size bedroom and comfortable double bed. Fairly basic but at the price it was fine. The location is good, an easy walk of about 20 minutes into Michelstadt, which is a very pretty place. We had breakfast at the hotel, which was enjoyable, with plenty of choice in a pleasant room. There is free parking at the front of the hotel. A nice place to stop while you are touring around the area.

    The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very tasty and there was plenty of it. The hotel was situated close to town and within walking distance of shops, close to the old town and an easy 10 minute drive from the English Garden Eulbach. Next door there was an extremely good Turkish restaraunt (Lookma) which I highly recommend you use.

    The hotel is in the very heart of the town, and everywhere you want to see is a short stroll away. It has a lot of old world charm but the things that ought to be modern are. The restaurant produces excellent food for dinner, and breakfast is all one needs.
