    To be honest, the hotel was at a T-Junction with a couple of...

    To be honest, the hotel was at a T-Junction with a couple of other buildings, well outside of Münsing in a village called St Heinrich, so we didn't actually see Münsing (Hence the Fair Rating). When we went out, we instead visited Starnberg which is beautiful, as is the scenic 30 minute drive around the lake. However the lake is a stones throw away from the hotel and even in January its stunning. Again due to the time of year, the bars/restaurant nearby on the lake were closed. However the Gasthaus next to our hotel served Traunstein Helles which is a big Yes from me :-)

    It’s such a calm,relaxing and place. To stay in this hotel is well-being on the highest level. It’s a beautiful building with lake view. The sound of birds will wake you up in the morning. The sauna house offers a steam bath and a sauna. We never had such a good breakfast before - truly high quality products,all organic and sustainable. Even after one night we felt the most relaxed. Thanks to this magical place.

    The hotel is in a tranquil location with beautiful scenery. The lake is nearby, offering opportunities for walking, cycling, and, of course, swimming. Munich is easily and quickly accessible, taking just over half an hour by car. The hosts were very kind and hospitable, allowing us to check into our rooms even though we arrived two hours before check-in. The breakfast was varied and the rooms were cleaned daily.

    Not a typical hotel, but a small boutique that feels like staying with a friend. Perfect service, highly recommended. Just be aware that you will need to arrange breakfast yourself. Bakery at 10 minutes walk.

    The family that run this hotel are so friendly and helpful, the food was great. The location to Penzberg was excellent. There are no negatives at all. It was like a home from home
