So nice. Booked one night, but wished we had booked 3! Albrect and Maria Gietzen were so helpful. Albrect met us at the station even though it was a 4 minute walk. We received free bus tickets to Burg Eltz and restaurant recommendations in the nearby towns (10 minute train ride). Room was comfortable with a great bathroom and balcony right in the winery. Fabulous Rieslings to buy right there for 12€. Breakfast was lovely.

The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind. We were traveling by bicycle and the luggage transfer service delivered our bags to the wrong town. They volunteered to drive us to collect our bags, saving us a 1+ hour train trip! Dinner at the restaurant was also amazing. Highly recommend; one of the best meals we had in Germany.

It was a good hotel, my room was situaded at the little river side, the sound of the river was fantastic, ,they were friendly, very nice room, very good bed, the shower a bit small but for me was perfect. The breakfast delicious and the dinner and the wine excellent. Nice swimming pool and solarium. For sure I will comeback.

Great location for visiting Eltz castle. Very big room. Lots of windows. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. The owner was very personable and helpful. We will definitely stay here again if we're ever in this area.

    It is a very picturesque tiny town on a slope.

    It is a very picturesque tiny town on a slope. It has pretty much all the facilities you’d need, including two supermarkets and a gas station. It is very central for most locations along the Rhine or the Moselle, but away from all the humdrum of the bigger towns. It is 10 minutes away by car from Burg Eltz and half an hour from Koblenz and Cochem, and the roads all around offer amazing views.

    The street was a little loud below but the worst part was...

    The street was a little loud below but the worst part was drilling in the wall by the bed at 8:30 in the morning and it happened four times. Couldn't get to sleep after that. Otherwise the room was sufficient we didn't like all the steps we had to take to get up to the top floor with all of our luggage. Room was sufficient with plenty of plugs, the gummy bears was a nice touch. The owner was very nice although they weren't done cleaning the room and it was 6 p.m. but they're very helpful to things to do and where to eat.
