Delicious breakfast, fantastic family room with bathroom in between, incredible service and attention to detail (toys in the family room). The decor is super eclectic and interesting and everything is very, very clean. Extremely comfortable beds and we're picky!!

An excellent hotel in a great location. Rooms were comfortable with everything you needed for a good stay and the bed and pillows were fantastic. The honour kitchen was great, well stocked and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the owner even offered to take a group photo at the end of our stay. Location was close to the old town without being in the hustle and bustle of the crowd which made it much easier accessing by car and free on-site parking was very much appreciated. We cannot rate this hotel highly enough, it was excellent!.

Perfect spot for exploring and experiencing Rothenburg. Hotel is right in the town centre and is full of charm and fits perfectly into the beautiful atmosphere of the town. This is a wonderful place. We hadn’t realised that it is a religious retreat house (Lutheran Evangelist) but that gave it an added feeling of peace. It is a beautiful old mansion right outside the town walls of Rothenburg o.d. Tauber (the river flows by the mansion) and one can walk into the centre of this beautiful medieval town in about ten minutes. The rooms are large (ours had a balcony) and have no TVs but this was an advantage for us!! The breakfast was the best we’ve seen, served in a magnificent dining hall. All the staff were wonderful and friendly. Our ambition is to return ASAP

    Most people, I suspect, come here to visit Rothenburg, which...

    Most people, I suspect, come here to visit Rothenburg, which makes sense as it's very close by. The actual village of Neusitz is picturesque and is ideal for cycling. There's not much else in the village - we were warned off from eating at the local pub/pension, something that I saw reflected in reviews of the place on various websites, but I suspect it's fine for a beer (when it's open, that is).
