Beautiful hotel room with all amenities. You can get there yourself and there are pans and cutlery available. The beds are good and the pillows are wonderful. The bathroom is spacious with a rain shower. Modern hotel room with everything you need and certainly recommended for travelers at this price.

    Whilst initial impressions may not appear promising,...

    Whilst initial impressions may not appear promising, Nordhausen does have a pretty old town, some interesting museums and galleries and pleasant parks. It is also a very compact city with many of the main attractions easily reached on foot. It also has a small tram system which is useful for getting about. Pleased be advised that there is not much in the way of night life, there is a theatre and cinema and a few good restaurants and bars but not much else happening at night.

    Nordhausen is a more interesting town than you might think.

    Nordhausen is a more interesting town than you might think. Most of it had to be rebuilt in the communist style after WW2, but there is still an old quarter with cobbled streets and timber framed houses which was restored and the contrasts between the two are interesting to see. Couple of nice parks as well. Barfuss restaurant in the old town is nice. Town is southern terminus of the Harz narrow gauge railway - well worth a trip. City centre fairly compact for walking around.

    I booked with this company at midnight just to see that there was already someone in the room.I the. Had to find another hotel which costed me not only money but 3 hours of my time at midnight. I emailed your company today morning and still havnt got a response or a refund .

    Well presented hotel for my two night stay. With my in/out times I didn't speak to any staff, my keys had been left on reception. Outside of Nordhausen it's an easy 12min walk to the tram stop & there is a bus stop nearby.

    Excellent location by the main station and next to the Harz steam railway station. There is an excellent Italian restaurant next door if you don't want to use the hotel restaurant.
