Nice, cozy and clean room. The place is quiet and comfortable for a night's stay while traveling or even for more days of you are starting in the area! There was a kitchen, not sure we could use it. We didn't need it but that's a plus I would check in case! Nearby there are not many options for eating in the evening, so calculate your arrival time well. We made the reservation only 2 hours before arrival and the host was kind and accurate in directions from distance. Thanks, we really appreciate it!

All was fine except having to run across the very busy road to get to reception, breakfast, bike shed etc. Breakfast is unequaled in this price category.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, pristinely clean, loads of character to the property and our room was stunning. The staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to be helpful - the service was impeccable. Wonderful selection for breakfast too. I would actually take a detour in order to stay here again.

    A quiet country village/town, with almost nothing to do, or...

    A quiet country village/town, with almost nothing to do, or places to visit, although there was a bar/club. It proved to be an ideal base from which to visit neighbouring areas, but it really is a quiet place. With the town being on the Southern Wine Route, (Sudliche Weinstrasse), there are plenty of wineries, both big and small to enjoy. There are a couple of places to dine, but I never tried them. (There are plenty in the area when you know where to look).
