Great Experience Visiting Offenburg! I had a wonderful visit to Offenburg, Germany, during my trip for CloudFest. The city has a charming atmosphere, with beautiful architecture, friendly locals, and great dining options. It was a perfect place to explore, offering a nice balance between modern conveniences and historic charm. The transport connections were smooth, making travel to Rust and CloudFest effortless. The local is very convenient and close to the train station, this saves you taxi fare as it is within walking distance. The breakfast which came with the booking was excellent. The room space was just right for my use as I wasn't staying for long. Travelers staying for long should pay particular attention to the size of the beds they choose, as the bed size in my room was small, but convenient. Offenburg is a lovely City at the edge of the Black Forest.; also home of Burda. There is a superb lake in walking distance, Gifiz, great for a safe swim. The hotel has everything you need for a short stop. The only negative part are pillows I would say, for me they were not comfy. The breakfast was pretty good for just 12€ pp. the parking you can find in the street. There is shower gel and hairdryer. There is no fridge but we didn’t need it for this short stay.
