Clean, attractive rooms, and in a nice location in town. The restaurant was delicious (we only had dinner, and so cannot vouch for breakfast), and the parking was convenient and free. There was a fair bit of construction going on at present, so it was a bit noisy in the morning, but I'm sure that is a temporary situation. This area of Papenburg is very charming and the staff was very friendly. The local is an easy 20-minute drive to the Bourtange Fortress, and if your timing is good, seeing a cruise ship being built at the Meyer-Werft shipyard is really cool.
