We really enjoyed the hotel and the city. It was perfect for us. The hotel is very pleasant, the staff is kind and helpful. The family room is spacious and very comfortably organized. There were five of us and we didn't feel crowded. The beds and linens are excellent, the air conditioning is very quiet. A spacious and pleasant shower. Varied and delicious breakfast. The city is also very pleasant and we enjoyed walking around it.

This is a wonderful hotel in a quiet location with the most amazing views of the surrounding mountains. We flew into Salzburg and hired a car to drive the 20 minutes to the hotel. The drive was easy and the views were stunning. The hotel is walking distance to Freilassing train station too. The location was perfect for driving through the mountains to visit Berchtesgaden, the Eagle's Nest and Lake Koniggsee, all of which we saw in 1 day. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival and were informed that the restaurant was still open for dinner. The restaurant needs it's own review because it was one of the best meals we had on our trip! The room was the biggest and most functional room we had throughout Europe. There was loads of storage, a nice hot shower of a decent size and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included with the room and had the most amazing variety on offer.

Absolutely great hospitality, warm people, with smile and a willing to help you! the hotel excited our expactations! Everybody so friendly and in the same time very professional! You can feel that Rein family is happy with what they do! Very tasty breakfast - very clean room - I hope we can come back soon! Honestly everything was great - nothing to dislike.
