The staff was very helpfull and friendly. We rented the sommerhutte and it had all the comfort we needed: a soft bed, decent pillows and duvet, extra blankets to sit outside, two plugs, lights and a heater. It was around 3 degrees at night when we were staying there but we were not cold at all in our hut! Also the common areas and sanitary facilities are very clean and were nice and warm all through the night. Could not recommend more!

The food in the hotel is amazing! Very hearty and lavish breakfast. Excellent German food in the restaurant. Great Schnitzel, duck and fillet. The restaurant is super cosy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved being there and felt very well looked after.

    The bedroom was good as stated However restuarant and bar...

    The bedroom was good as stated However restuarant and bar shut no apology or concern Very bad and disappointing Got a phone call at 8pm asking rather rudely where we were we were only 5 minutes away trying to find it but no offer of directions etc We were only booked in at 8pm so rather rude and uncaring Wanted to book us in so she could go home and everything was locked up When booking we were told the dog was free When we left we had go pay E15 for the dog when told we had been told the dog was free they were not interested Chose hotel for view and terrace neither we could enjoy as resturant and bar shut Would not stay there again Glad to leave

    WE booked this guesthouse as a base for trips to Luxembourg and Trier and it was a great choice. Our rooms we very spacious and also the bathrooms attached to them were large. We also enjoyed a served breakfast (we found all we needed), and could park our car in a carpark 3 min walk from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

    Wonderfully friendly staff Traditional hotel, Clean rooms, comfy beds Fabulous showers...... Best BREAKFAST ever..... Wish I lived close enough, I'd come for breakfast regularly.... We will certainly return .....xx

    The location was perfect on the banks of the Sauer river with only a bridge separating Germany and Luxembourg. The hotel had an attached restaurant and pub, which provided great food and beer.
