For us it was the trip, a family reunion and a funeral and memorial for an uncle a trip into the past. Spent many childhood summers and winters here, when my grandparents lived lakeside here. If you like Bavaria and are active, hiking, skiing, swimming, sailing, mountain biking, etc this is a great area. This place is best for cycling and walking in the mountains. It's quite easy to get around on foot, there are lots of hotels, clothes shops and supermarkets, but there aren't too many places to eat and no proper embankment to enjoy the lake.Guest review byMariaPortugal

The rooms are spacious and have balconies overlooking the mountain. There is plenty of room for storage for clothes. There is a parking space at the hotel for fifteen cars or more. Some of the rooms have a small refrigerator. We were a group of five seniors having a reunion.
