The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. We loved sitting outside on the terrace by the water fountain. It was so peaceful. So pretty with all the flowers. Our room overlooked the terrace and we could sit outside on the balcony overlooking everything and we had the perfect view of the Glockenspiel. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! Food was very good! I loved the location. Beautiful historic hotel! It was close to all the attractions and it was a short walk to the train station. We loved our stay.

Check-in and reception were wonderfully nice and helpful, with good communication before we even arrived. Breakfast was nice with good variety, and the staff was lovely and friendly with our little kids. The family room was perfect for our mixed family group of 2 kids (ages 1 and 4), 2 parents, and 1 grandmother (age 70) and was really excellent value for money. Everything was sparkling clean, and the beds were big with lots of space for everyone. The location was perfect, it's a short walk to all the best restaurants and it's just across the street from a fantastic winery for tastings. As we were checking out, our 4-year-old didn't want to leave and announced that it was "the best hotel in the WHOLE WORLD."

We have been staying here, mostly yearly since 1992 and love it. We did, for several years, bring motorcyclists on our tours to stay here and they always provided good feedback. The rooms are immaculately clean, tge beds comfortable, the food delicious, the staff lovely, friendly and professional.

    The town is a tourist magnet, but for those who know the...

    The town is a tourist magnet, but for those who know the Rheingau also a Mecca, neighbouring Gesienheim has the University where many Rheingau wine makers will have studied. The whole Rheingau is within reach, the steep Rüdesheim vineyards above the town are wonderful and peaceful for walking, those with less energy can take the chairlift. We tried the Spanish restaurant near the Bahnhof and Breuer's Schloss restaurant opposite (4 metres away) from the Hotel Lindenwirt where we stayed and also ate and drank. They had some nice (think craft) alco free beers.

    I came to Rüdesheim for peace and quiet and beautiful...

    I came to Rüdesheim for peace and quiet and beautiful scenery, and I was not disappointed! I did observe that the tourist crowd tends toward older people. The Drosselgasse can get quite lively during the evening, but on a Monday night, the whole town seems to shut down around 10pm. This may not be an ideal vacation hotspot for the young, hip, 20-30-something crowd, but if you are looking for natural beauty, local history, and a nice, quiet, chill community to spend a few days, then I'd definitely recommend Rüdesheim!

    We love this location.

    We love this location. It was on the side of the Ryan river with mountains and castles located close by. There was a number of good shops and cafes and a lovely cable car ride to the top of the mountain which increased the views. We would recommend this town and location for Travelers to go to at any time.

    For a small town on the river Rhein, Rusdesheim offers a good choice of bars, restaurants and cafes, as well as attractions including the chair lift to the Niederwald Monument. Easy to walk around with good public transport connections by river or rail. Prices for food and drink are still reasonable, considering the volume of tourist traffic the town receives.

    Went to rudesheim with friends a couple of years ago and just loved it. So booked again for this year. It’s not too big - apart from the Xmas market lots of lovely shops and restaurants. Right on the Rhine as the name suggests and lovely river cruise up to the lorelei and back. The ski lift is well worth a trip - especially at night. Thursday to Sunday gives enough time.

    What a great place to visit!

    What a great place to visit! It is one of the most beautiful places in Germany! We stayed in Fewo am Brunnen and that was just gorgeous! Its is located very central in the town, but you won't notice that if you are having breakfast in the garden or sleep at night. But just around the corner there are numerous of lovely restaurants and bars to enjoy yourself. And don't forget to go up the mountain with the seilbahn :-)

    Solid hotel in super location. Direct on Rhein, close to, or practically in, the historic centre of Rüdesheim. Railway station and ferry few minutes walk. Furniture and equipment not new, but ok, room and beds comfortable. electrical kettle available. Breakfast solid, with wide choice of everything. We stayed for 3 nights, hotel as a base for trips in Rheingau. I do not regret that I reserved this hotel, and we were satisfied with our stay.

    We were greeted by the friendliest hosts we have met who showed us around and explained everything. The apartment is even better than the description and pictures show. Clean, spacious and everything provided. Location is excellent, close to everything you need in Rudesheim. The beautiful view over the Rhein river just tops off everything that is good about this place, a very memorable stay.

    We enjoyed our stay at the Rudesheimer Wohlfuhloase apartment, it was a little quirky and charming, very comfortable with an excellent kitchen and bathroom, a lovely side garden and parking out the front. Also had 3 supermarkets within walking distance, so handy for shopping. Also only 10 minutes from the Main Street.
