I sincerely recommend Pension Busch, for many reasons: the comfort of the apartment, its equipment, cleanliness, garden, parking, extremely nice and helpful hosts and location, it is a great place both for sightseeing, visiting towns located around Bodensee, and even for a business stay in nearby Friedrichshafen. We were here for the fourth time and certainly not the last.

    Cozy small town but you get everything close enough! Shops, supermarkets, bakery, restaurants and a wonderful Badesee (lake) ideal for famiies. A lot to do and visit in the area and it is very close to the Bodensee!! But the house also invites to stay and relax/enjoy the premises and garden!

    We didn't plan ahead to go to Salem, we just chose a hotel...

    We didn't plan ahead to go to Salem, we just chose a hotel that had availability and then found something to do nearby. So we arrived and visited the Cistercian Abbey which was quite nice. There are other options in Salem but we ate dinner at the Jagerhof Restaurant in Uhldingen-Mühlhofen next door to the Tractor Museum that we would like to visit on another trip. In the morning we drove to Pfahlbauten (Stilt House Museum) also in Uhldingen-Muhlhofen. Plenty to do in the area of Salem.

    The staff and owner give you a warm welcome and great tips to visit the area. The historic property and garden are charming, renovated and maintained very well. Nice place to stay including fresh breakfast.

    Extremely well-designed, modern, comfortable and well-equipped house, which looks as if the owners had spent a week in it to think about all the useful details. Spotlessly clean and excellent communication with the friendly owner. We really appreciated her advice, especially about swimming in Schlosssee. 5 minutes drive to Salem center.

    We had such a lovely stay here. Great family run hotel. The owners are very friendly and warm. There is a vending machine for snacks at a reasonable price. Breakfast was hearty with fresh, local produce. Good location for exploring the area. Highly recommended.
