Setting, Location and homely village feel was the most important elements that came through during our stay, the warmth of all the staff and the walking through the parks and forests, expecially how the village itself is build integrating forest and architecture.     Wonderful old building, decor superb. Close to train station (good for not having to drive and park in Munich), and also for getting on to motorways to visit Bavaria and it's castles, lakes etc. We stayed in a lovely suite, with bathroom and mini-kitchen, which had a fridge, sink, hob, microwave, kettle. Directly opposite a supermarket, and very close to a lovely Italian restaurant. The hotel restaurant was very good, as was the adjoining Bavarian restaurant.

    The restaurant, the breakfast and the biergarten are all excellent. The place is great value for the money if you need to spend time in the Munich area. Spacious parking is available, and it is very close to Sauerlach's train station.

    Perfect location for transit - near to the highway. The hotel is lovely, clean and comfortable and next to it a Beer garden with nice atmosphere. Staff was very kind and helpful & breakfast was delicious.
