Warm Hospitality: The innkeepers and staff at Anno 1772 welcomed me with genuine warmth and hospitality. Their friendly demeanour and attention to detail made me feel right at home from the very start. They were always available to answer questions, provide recommendations, and ensure my comfort throughout my stay. Charming Atmosphere: Anno 1772 exudes a lovely and cosy ambience. From the tastefully decorated rooms to the inviting communal areas, every corner was thoughtfully designed to create a relaxed and comfortable environment. The attention to detail in the interior decor truly adds to the overall charm and character of the place. Impeccable Cleanliness: Cleanliness is paramount to me when choosing accommodations, and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of cleanliness at Anno 1772. The room and common areas were spotless, and it was evident that great care was taken to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property. Comfortable Accommodations: My room at Anno 1772 was an oasis of comfort. The bed was plush and cosy, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Evidently, the innkeepers went above and beyond to ensure their guests' comfort. Scrumptious Breakfast: The breakfast served at Anno 1772 was an absolute delight. Each morning, I was treated to a delicious homemade spread of freshly baked goods, various fruits, and a selection of hot and cold dishes. The attention to culinary detail and using locally sourced ingredients added a layer of satisfaction to my stay.

The location, surrounding scenery and the accommodation itself was just exceptional. The view from the terrace and from the front of the house was beautiful and we enjoyed evening walks there, other than visiting other surrounding areas. The host was very friendly too which made the check-in and checkout very pleasant

    The hotel was very nice. Clean decent sized rooms. The shower was a little small but definitely adequate with great water pressure. The hotel had all the amenities we could want. Wifi/internet was fantastic and much better than the hotels within the US. Quite street so we were able to open the window at night and still get sleep. I would stay here again. Also we found out during our stay that the train station is just a flight of stairs away.

    There is no breakfast but this was mentioned clearly. There is a bakery at the railway station which is about 10 minutes walking. The room is okay, nothing special but okay. Also the shower / bathroom, bed is fine. The building is of a certain age, nevertheless I felt safe and secure. The hotel is fine for a night, at maximum a weekend. Parking place is front of the hotel at no cost.

    Such a welcoming family, they were lovely with our babyson!! Delicious breakfast! Nice vinyl record collection. We didn't use the fire place, but it looked beautiful just like the house - really liked the bohemian style of it. Good location, the nature in Herchen/Windeck is beautiful, especially now during autumn with the colored 🍃 🍂 🍁 🍃 leaves. Planning to come back next year:)
