The apartment was very clean and tidy. What made our stay extra pleasant was that there were things like hand soap, coffee, dish soap, shampoo—in short, the basic necessities. The contact with the hostess was also very pleasant and personal. All in all, a big 10.

Very stylish place, lovely bathroom, friendly staff and primarily great food in the restaurant. We ate the best meal of our trip here and we also paid extra for breakfast the next morning which was also excellent and good value for money.

The general athmosphere is characterized by flexibility and an easy-going vibe, but this does not come at the expense of professionalism, but actually makes the stay perfect. The rooms were spotless, the washroom fittings and design top notch, and the beds + linens very comfortable. The attention to detail shones through. Breakfast was splendid, the selection of local delicacies and produce were a very nice touch. The hotel is situated between the town centre and the therme baths, which is super convenient.

omg! What an experience! the spa was amazing, unfortunatelly it was just till 8pm. The dinner was - I am speechless. The staff were so nice and helpfull. The room was really nice and cleam. The hotel was really calm. And the breakfast? Just wow!

Das Bergmayr is the ideal spot whether you’re traveling alone, as a couple, or with the whole family. There are plenty of things to do and see in the area, and as a guest you receive a special card with free activities – just because you’re staying here. The views are stunning, the air is fresh, and the atmosphere has an authentic Bavarian spirit. The guesthouse also has a restaurant with a modest but decent selection of dishes. Breakfast is included, and it’s a very generous and tasty one – definitely a big plus. You can rent a bike for 4 or 8 hours (€15 and €30 respectively). The staff is extremely friendly and speaks both German and English. The wellness area has two saunas and a pool. The saunas are quite small (max. 4 people), and the pool is 1.6 m deep with modest dimensions, but it’s perfect for cooling off after a sauna session. Our room had a TV. If you’re wondering about the difference between Comfort and Standard rooms: Comfort rooms are larger and perfect for families. Parking costs €5 per night, and they are not responsible if you can’t find a spot on the property – though they do have quite a few spaces available. We recommend this place to everyone, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

    Beautiful cottage-style hotel 25km from the Königssee with a self check-in ability if you come late. The room was stylish and very clean. The beds were comfortable. And we had a beautiful view over the mountains from our balcony. A good place to stay if you came to visit Berchtesgaden

    The hotel is right at the mountains. Very beautiful location and view. The rooms are big, very clean and nice! The staff was extremely kind and helpfull. Our car had a puncture and the staff helped us get in touch with a workshop to have it fixed. All perfect:)
