Cute hotel in a beautiful historic building in the heart of Schönberg. Clean bathroom, comfortable bed, effective electronic check-in (I arrived late evening). I was surprised by a delicious breakfast with fresh-made eggs. The interior of the lobby was a real pleasure to see.

A lovely place - beautiful building, friendly staff, good location and lovely food - we'd paid for bed & breakfast but also had dinner. Delicious! Make time to walk around the neighbourhood as it's very pretty by the lake.

We didn’t expect much, as we were simply looking for a place to stay overnight on our journey from Berlin to Denmark. Since most options in Kiel were already booked, we took a small detour and ended up in a quiet beach town we hadn't known before. The hotel turned out to be very cozy and beautifully decorated. The surrounding scenery was wonderful, and despite a construction site just outside, the long, peaceful sandy beaches left a lasting impression. The breakfast was excellent, offering plenty of variety.

    Be warned, on check out hotel tried to charge an extra €216 euro saying the price on Booking.com wasn’t the full price and I would have to pay the difference, eventually backed down but has this hotel tried the same trick on others ? It was a ten minute stand off that wasn’t appreciated when running late to catch a flight
