    The museum in the Upper Castle is the best thing to visit in Siegen, which explains the history of the royalty who lived there, especially the Nassau / Oranje family whose descendants are still on the Dutch throne. Also good detail of the iron ore mining and iron/steel manufacture locally. We didn't find much else in Siegen to tempt us, but were glad to go out to Freudenberg to see the large number of attractive timbered houses.

    The house is located in the very centre of the city. The room is clean, there is a kettle and coffee. A good place to stay overnight in the city centre. But don't expect it to be hotel level. For its price it is a great option. Very nice and friendly host. All in all I liked it.
