Hotel staff were extremely helpful after British Airways cancelled our flight at 00:30, after 5 hours delay. We were all starving, tired and disappointed we could not go home, but they dealt with everyone's last minute check-in with a lot of patience and understanding. Rooms were nice and clean. The lounge was very comfortable and a much better waiting area than a cold airport gate.

The hotel was clean and modern. We used the hotel's shuttle service to and from the airport, which was very convenient. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. Guests were offered mulled wine and cake, which was a nice touch. The location was great – we reached Cologne city center in just 35 minutes. The room was warm and cozy, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

The staff were very attentive, professional and friendly. One pointer: I called reception (on 3 different occasions over 2 different days), and the phone simply rang out. So there is a need for more staff, as the hard-working (1) reception guy, is not able to be in every place at every time. Breakfast was very nice. The only thing I would add is that I would have liked scrambled eggs, the hard-boiled eggs felt 3 days old.
