    Nice small city, good start point to get around!

    Nice small city, good start point to get around! Great bus and ferry connecting! Just take care about the restaurant and Cafe - not so friendly - almost every is reservations needed, but for the fisrt evening, when u didn’t know, how all is working. No real shopping on site - need car to get to the next supermarket!

    Great walking opportunities, rock climbing, floating down...

    Great walking opportunities, rock climbing, floating down the river in a rubber boat. Train to Dresden was easy, and the river ferry to reach the station is included in the price. Too late in the season to try the exciting looking open air pool.

    The hotel stay itself was actually great. My husband and I stayed here with his parents and therefore we stayed four nights in two hotel rooms. Rooms were clean and internet worked. Cheap parking is available near the hotel, and the hotel has elevators, which was important for my father in law. The breakfasts were really good and customer service overall was also good. What happened after our stay is what is unacceptable and I will describe this in the "dislike" portion shortly.

    To rich the hotel from the train station you must use the ferry. The hotel itself was nice and the room was comfy. The water provided was a nice surprise, the lounge which can be used till late evening was a great addition were you can have tee/coffee for free and some snacks and drinks to buy, as cafes are closed after 8PM and some even 7PM. The location is great to do some hikes to Bastei bridge and some other locations nearby.

    Super friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is located just by the ferry and across the tram. There is a public parking lot close by and the hotel provided vouchers for free parking. We also received tourist cards for free tram, bus, and ferry usage in the area. We had a lovely room (junior suite)

    I must say, although we were only able to stay for a small part of breakfast, it was lovely. The room is about what we expected and the location was perfect as that is the only reason we booked a place to stay in Stadt Wehlen.

    Nice and cosy hotel beautifully located on a market square of a very peaceful town. Very comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, very welcomed hosts always willing to help with guidance on treks in the national park.
