    Charming town on the lake with wonderful promenade.

    Charming town on the lake with wonderful promenade. Good train service. Lots of (expensive) shops. Wirtshaus is a great experience for Bavarian food. La Bagnarota Ristorante (Italian) is very convenient, friendly with good food. Avoid the Gallo Nero restaurant. Mediocre food and poor service.

    Clean. Also, the owner provided a hot water bottle for my daughter. We arrived quite late and were in Starnberg for medical reasons. I was very impressed with her apparent kindness.

    Great apartment, very spacious with everything you need. Sarah made us feel most welcome. Felt like an authentic German home. Walkable to Starnberg train station and lake.
