One of the most charming hotels I have ever stayed at! Gorgeous views, luxurious rooms with creative local decor, exceptional food and service - yet it all felt cozy and welcoming. Small touches like fresh fruit and brass keys instead of those hideous cards made it extra special. The dinner was one of the best we had in all of Germany, and the breakfast buffet with homemade breads and yogurts was wonderful. Loved that it was dog-friendly, even though our dog was not with us. The goats (sheep?) grazing on the pasture directly behind the hotel were the perfect Alpine touch. The entire family loved our time here.

This hotel is truly magical, offering spacious rooms—we had one with a kitchen—and a large, peaceful garden surrounded by greenery. It's located close to a lake, where there's a small water park, and as a guest, you get a discount and can use the free shuttle and ferry services provided by the hotel. The nearby small city is charming and peaceful, adding to the overall amazing experience. The hotel staff is incredibly helpful and nice, making it a wonderfully quiet and relaxing place to stay.

This was a fantastic apartment, a great view of the mountain and little bit of the town - the supermarket was a 1 minute walk away, as was a great little bakery. We had fresh towels, the apartment was super clean and Jacqueline was so incredibly kind and communicative before, during and after our stay! The little balcony was great to have as well as we could sit outside while it was raining. Amenities were all there that we needed, and we were very happy there. I would 100% stay here again.

    Small town, quite busy. Surprising few restaurants! We ate in same Ristorante Trastevere two nights. Good. Nice lake in which you can swim. Early August temperature was fine. Pleasant boat trip to, and walk through, Bad Wiessee. Hotel Caro & Selig is well located though quite expensive.

    Best gateway if you are leaving nearby munich, really beautiful and nice and definitely not spoiled with influx of tourists. Destination is well connected, one can take direct train from munich central station and reach there in about an hour.

    The Hotel is amazing. It is really comfortable and nice. We spend our wedding night in October 2019 there and we were really happy and had a great experience. Sadly, when we decided to come back this time with our 1 year daughter we had a very different (bad) experience. The Hotel is definitely not friendly for kids. After giving it a lot of thought we decided to stay one night at the hotel, mainly because of the amazing pool. Check-In is at 15:00h and Check-out at 12:00. When we got there, it turned out that kids are not allowed in the pool after 14:00h. So we couldn't use the pool the first day and the second day we only got to be in the pool just a couple of hours . - No one told us about the pool regulations although I called and said I was traveling with a kid. I just hope that they put this information more explicitly and accessible at their web page so parents know the implications of traveling with kids. Amazing Hotel but definitely not for traveling with children.

    A cozy but somewhat spacious hotel. It has a restaurant with two sides - inner "oldschool", a really pleasant authentic vibe. And street side with glass walls where you can enjoy the great lake/mountain view. Local people are enjoying their evening there and it's really relaxing. The room is great, more spacious than I imagined, even with a baby crib. Breakfast was excellent.

    all the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and considerate, the location above the Tegernsee beautiful and the breakfast truly comprehensive and of excellent quality. EV stations in the garage even though some connection issues on the day, which were effectively resolved by reception staff.

    Very cozy, small apartment, perfect for a week. tCozy terras, kitchen with basic needs. Very clean and lovely welcome gift :) Lays in walking distance to Tegernsee and also next to many shops and restaurants. From there it's also very easy to go visit beautiful side of Bavaria.
