Small town, quite busy. Surprising few restaurants! We ate in same Ristorante Trastevere two nights. Good. Nice lake in which you can swim. Early August temperature was fine. The Hotel is amazing. It is really comfortable and nice. We spend our wedding night in October 2019 there and we were really happy and had a great experience. Sadly, when we decided to come back this time with our 1 year daughter we had a very different (bad) experience. The Hotel is definitely not friendly for kids. After giving it a lot of thought we decided to stay one night at the hotel, mainly because of the amazing pool. Check-In is at 15:00h and Check-out at 12:00. When we got there, it turned out that kids are not allowed in the pool after 14:00h. So we couldn't use the pool the first day and the second day we only got to be in the pool just a couple of hours . - No one told us about the pool regulations although I called and said I was traveling with a kid. I just hope that they put this information more explicitly and accessible at their web page so parents know the implications of traveling with kids.
