    A little off the beaten track, but plenty to do.

    A little off the beaten track, but plenty to do. Boating, swimming, rent bikes and visit the towns nearby. Hop on the bus (very simple to use and covered by the hotel tourist card) to visit nearby towns, get to the train station, or the ferry station. We were able to visit Lindau-Insel on a day trip by bus/train, spend 5-6 hours there, and still made it back in time for dinner and watching the sunset over the lake. Konstanz, and Insel Mainau are easily reachable by bus/ferry.

    A short bus ride to Meersburg, an exceptionally interesting...

    A short bus ride to Meersburg, an exceptionally interesting small town with some outstanding architecture. Also within 5 minutes walk of the hotel is a brand new museum of the historic pile dwellings. Well worth the €12 entrance fee and a well put together story of an interesting part of history in this part of the world.

    This is the most perfect place to stay with friends and...

    This is the most perfect place to stay with friends and family with great amenities. Great patio with grill with nice tables and chairs. A place to eat in the vicinity. The bus line was near by, but I had my brother to take us around the area. Next time I visit, I would come doing the October Feast. I would see if the owner have other places with a lower floor apartment so I wouldn't have to climb a lot of stairs.

    A really good and quiet location for reaching all highlights...

    A really good and quiet location for reaching all highlights of the Bodensee area (Lindau, Constance, Meersburg, etc.). We even made a trip to the Rhine waterfalls in Schaffhausen (Switzerland) that was about an hour ride by train. Trains in the area are very efficient and frequent and the location of the train station from our facility was about 10 mins walk.

    The rooms were beautiful, very clean and comfortable. This was such an excellent, friendly hotel that we decided to stay for an additional night. Luckily one room was available. Staff transferred all our baggage from our original room to the one night room, which was of an excellent standard too. I must commend and thank the staff who helped me following a fall I experienced (probably sunstroke or heatstroke). The breakfast was outstanding. Thank you!
