A wonderful stay! The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, and made us feel right at home. The apartment is beautifully furnished, spotless, and maintained to a very high standard. It’s fully equipped with everything you might need — especially the kitchen, which had more than we expected. Peaceful and quiet, with breathtaking views. Would definitely recommend and happily stay again!

Fairly spacy apartment in the souterrain of a family home. Recently renovated/ built. Kids toys available, Fussball table (Tischkicker), living area and bedroom (2+1). Garden view. You dont hear from anyone around, super quiet. Kids can run around in the garden. Parking on the street - its not so busy you cant find parking either. On the road to mount Kandel - beautiful views and outdoor area. You can walk to a little lake in less than 15 minutes.

Beautiful location surrounded by spectacular nature just outside the town of Simonswald. Old farmhouse with modern & spacious rooms. Fantastic restaurant with exceptional host. Check in/out super easy. Breakfast was plentiful with made-to-order-eggs, as well as a breakfast buffet. The in-house restaurant serves regional dishes, which are made fresh and taste absolutely delicious. Free parking on site. Easy access to many hiking trails just steps away from the hotel. Highly recommend. Will stay here again this summer.

    We were so happy with this beautiful apartment. It was much bigger than we expected and was modern and 100% clean. The apartment is perfectly situated in town yet feels really quiet. We would definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in the wonderful town of Waldkirch.

    Really good facility with helpful staff. If you have a car, it is easy to reach to Freiburg city center. Public transportation is also possible and hotel provides tickets, but bus is not very frequent.
