Great apartment, very clean and equipped with all required amenities. Separate kitchen/dining and living areas. The Finnish sauna (in the garden cabin) is certainly a plus. EDEKA store just next door for grocery shopping. Ideal environment for nice walking trips. Easy communication with the owners.

Nice location, very nice house. The garden is work in progress and it will be even nicer in the future. We used the sauna and loved it. Good location to explore the area. Parking was on site. The host was very nice.

We really enjoyed staying in this holiday home. The accommodation is spacious and suitable for an extended stay. The kitchen is very well equipped. We especially loved the outdoor space with views overlooking the fields and hills. The surrounding area has a good number of enjoyable walking routes, although the waymarking is sometimes a bit difficult to navigate. We would happily stay here again.

    Waxweiler would normally be a good place to navigate from,...

    Waxweiler would normally be a good place to navigate from, but unfortunately the main road was closed during our stay. During our stay also the restaurants but one were closed which meant we had to drive far to go out to eat. On the other side of our accommodation was a nice pool, that especially our kids really liked.

    The hotel is ideally situated for walks, views and explorations. The hosts are amazing and really, really helpful. We were given the room with the balcony and had fantastic views. The room itself was large and very comfortable, as was the bed. The hairdryer in the bathroom was a definite bonus. We were at the front side of the hotel which is directly opposite a church. If you are a light sleeper bring some earplugs so you won't get woken up at 7 o'clock by the lovely chimes of the church bells. Breakfast was really good, fresh juice, bread and bread rolls, meat, cheese and jam and percolated coffee!! Added bonus...... cuddles with Luca (Luka) the poodle!!! xxx Downside ...... the break was too short!! Eiscafe Italia is a must for icecreams and drinks on a hot day, Pizzeria Kebap Haus has some truly scrumptious meals, Hotel am Schwimmbad provides with some heart meals which you can eat on the terrace so that you can enjoy some great views. Overall a fantastic place to stay but definitely need more than 2 nights!!
