Lovely big rooms with great views on the top of a hill just off the A8. Great for kids with plenty to see and do. Best was the breakfast, included and exceptional, a buffet with almost everything.

Clean and spacious. Very friendly and helpful owners. Situated in quiet rural area but with good access to autobahn. Very good evening meal and breakfast. Local fuel station with reasonably priced fuel.

If you want to feel historical atmosphere, this gasthof is good choice. During walking, floor give nice "old" sounds, windows are small and give cosy, historical impression. Nice garden, very tasty served breakfest-this gasthof is totally different in compare to nowdays modern hotels, but this is a biggest advantage:)

    Exceptional evening meal booked in advance - Room was huge, one of our bed squeaked every time you moved and air conditioning didn't seem effective (it was 30 degrees outside). Noisy main road even at night however we picked this traditional hotel due to its closeness to our onward route. Breakfast was OK with few hot items but typically German/continental which we liked. Coffee was excellent.

    The hotel was in a countryside, very calm. The staff was very friendly. We had a very good dinner, they served big portions. Beds were very comfortable, the room was clean. The location of the hotel was also very good. We spent 1 night, but I can imagine more. The garden is really nice.

    Nice hotel in a setting with a good view. Rooms good and quiet, comfortable. Restaurant was good with reasonable selection and good quality food, breakfast was to a good standard. Free parking good.

    A very good hotel located not far from the Metzingen city if you travel by car. Clean rooms and friendly staff. It was nice to find small sweets in the room and voucher for a free local beer.
