I loved how quiet my room was. Even though I was facing the train station and the street, I did not hear anything. Not only that, but I did not hear my neighbours once, nor did I hear anyone else's door closing. Exactly how every hotel should be. The staff were also all very nice and friendly. I also enjoyed the nice lounge.

The apartment was clean and spacious. Very easy self check-in at anytime and express check out. Very close to shopping center with REWE supermarket and to the main promenade and Augustusburg Palace. For extra 10 Euro you can get an underground parking space.

We went for a two day trip to Phantasialand. The hotel was situated next to it and so we booked it...and it turned out to be so awesome...the next day we actually walked to Phantasialand. In the evening we took a walk on the property and it was nice. Perfect stay if you want to visit Phantasialand. The breakfast was nice. The rooms were very clean.

Hotel Tante Alma has a homely and retro feel about it. There is an enormous poster of Mahatma Gandhi on the ground floor and there are many items in the lobby and the corridors that feel like 70s antique. There are tibetan flags in the lobby if I remember well. It gives the hotel a very characteristic, friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Staff are exceedingly friendly and internet is good. The beds are excellent. The shower was fine, though in my room (at the end of the hallway) the hot water took a long time to arrive. Breakfast is simple but excellent. The hotel is meticulously clean. I felt very at home in Tante Alma.

The staff and the location. We were there for 3 days as we had moved out of our apartment and were relocating overseas. It was perfect for us. They first gave us a noisy room which I queried and the team found us another room with no fuss at all. GREAT service recovery!

    Very cute simple town with everything you need.

    Very cute simple town with everything you need. Very close to cologne and a direct train that only takes 37minutes into down town. It ran every 30min on the Sunday we were there. Very walkable and friendly. Great views of the river and countryside.

    We stayed here one night as we visited cologne and bonn. The hotel is in the middle of the two towns more or less. The view on the river at sunrise was absolutely breathtaking. Very clean, comfortable bed and very accommodating staff that allowed us late check in. I definitely advise to try the experience.

    The hotel has an excellent situation right on the river - you feel as if with a big jump from your bedroom window you could land in the river! There is a nice outdoor terrace again right on the river. You can sit and watch all the barges and other boat traffic go past.
