    If someone is interested in archeology, especially early civilization, this is an area to explore. Some of the most spectacular remnants of bronze- and iron-age culture can be found within 30 km of Wildeshausen. For those with hiking or biking in their repertoire, there are numerous paths with picnic tables nearby. The tourist office has an ample supply of well-designed routes to follow, by foot, bike, or car.

    Very nice leafy location. Close to motorway. Clean & tidy with friendly staff. Good buffet breakfast & lovely food in the evening. Couple of little downsides are bar didn’t open until 5pm & menus are only in German. Downloading Google translate soon fixes that though.

    This a a beautiful hotel, super friendly staff, very modern and very comfortable room and a stunning garden and restaurant on the terrace that is a total haven! The restaurant food was amazing and soo much choice - we would love to stay here again and wished we’d stayed longer!

    This is a beautiful, large, bright flat with a balcony in a quiet area of Wildeshausen. The kitchen has everything you need and more. The feeling of space was perfectly balanced with furniture that was more than adequate and not overbearing. Our host was very amenable and happy to help. The WiFi was a strong signal covering the whole flat. The flat is close to shops and eateries. There is safe on-street parking in car lay-by. We were extremely happy here and would recommend it. We hope to return.

    The quality of the food was amazing. Never before have I tasted such a delicious home-made asparagus soup. The breakfast was equally delicious. Walking the dog in the neighbourhood was easy as there are woodland/riverside walks diagonally across from the hotel.

    The hotel is in a quiet and very green residential area close to a forest, but also within walking distance of downtown Wildeshausen (1 km?) which has plenty of eateries and restaurants. I had a nice meal in the hotel restaurant, which is small, but cosy.

    Excellent food in the restaurant. However, the hotel should have asked us while booking if we wanted to reserve a table for dinner. As it turned out, the restaurant was fully booked, and we had to dine in the non-heated summer pavillion area.
