The restaurant was lovely, dinner was beautifully presented. Don't skip the desserts, they were pretty and delicious. Ambience in the glass winter garden was classy and cozy. Breakfast was great. Not just continental breakfast choices (which included smoked salmon) but also some hot food which is not so common in Germany. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely eat out in the restaurant. They served tradional Schnitzel but also some interesting vegetarian options like creamed Wasabi coconut mash, tomato and walnut puree. The modern-design rooms we booked, were spotless and comfortable. The hotel is set in pretty country-side.

This hotel is OMG beautiful, has an amazing restaurant, was spotlessly clean, and is set amidst a gorgeous forest park not far from Oldenburg. The staff were fantastic, and breakfast was also fantastic. I highly recommend staying here!

The location was wonderful, a beautiful, quiet rural village. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was also a bonus for us to find that the place had a nice restaurant (which also provided an excellent breakfast).

Good breakfast, nice room, but fairly steep ascent. Excellent for a quiet night after a long drive with seriously delayed traffic around Hamburg. Comfortable bed.
