Historical, yet modern.
Historical, yet modern. There is opportunity to experience close to nature. The UNESCO World Natural Heritage Wadden Sea Visitor Centre Wilhelmshaven is a great interactive exhibition for young and old with lots of interesting information and a fun way to learn new things. A very nice, well-ordered town with excellent public transport. Wilhelmshaven was largely rebuilt after WWII, but plenty of...
Wilhelmshaven was largely rebuilt after WWII, but plenty of older buildings survive. Its history is fascinating and is well-depicted in the excellent Küstenmuseum (Coastal Museum, Weserstraße 58).
