Very cute place, very family friendly, we rented a car so it was only 20min away from Legoland. Kitchen had all we needed to prep some dinner, the breakfast had great value, it was super delicious!!!! Very easy check in, flexible hours, quick responses. We are very satisfied!

The location of Hyrdeskolen is absolutely beautiful, with woods and vast green fields around. It's peacefully and quiet. One of the room's windows is facing South where beautiful sunsets can be seen but it's better to go outside. There is a space to sit outside with your morning coffee or at any time of the day. The room is simple but it's clean with two comfortable armchairs, there is a fridge, kettle and a Tchibo coffee machine, which I much appreciated. It's a lovely touch to facilitate a good coffee machine with a nice coffee in the room, so you can have a morning brew before you go on with your day. The owners are kind, thoughtful and friendly people. We could also see dogs in training, which was very interesting. When we are back in Denmark, we will be looking to stay in Hyrdeskolen again. P.S. The only thing that I was missing was some kind of clothes storage, for example, a simple rail with few hangers in the room/ wall hooks to hang some clothing from the briefcase. Good location in an interesting small town full of art, close to many places (e.g. Billund, Jelling, Ribe, Aarhus etc.). Our room looked over the parking lot, but it was very peaceful. We enjoyed the little terrace in the evenings. The room was clean and comfortable, the wifi worked well, breakfast was delicious (try the bacon!), parking was very convenient in front of the building. Altogether it was a good choice for 5 nights.

    Friendly staff, nice and clean room, basic but everything you need. Kitchen clean and tidy. Decent breakfast. Wifi. Great location. Free parking in front of hotel. Nearby supermarket. Zoo across the street (lovely zoo btw!), legoland 20 minutes. Vejle city is 20 minutes with a cozy city center. Would definitely recommend this hostel!

    Top location next to the Givskud ZOO. Very nice and clean hostel, one of the best I saw. Large and well equipped kitchen, dining room, a lot of LEGO brics :)
