Lovely small city with some great restaurants. Lovely scenery and relaxing vibe. Ferry just south to Germany was above our expectations. We were recommended Restaurant B but you need a reservation...the place smelled of excellent cooking! They recommended we try Bangs Have...awesome place with a very good Chef and Luisa the maitre di/server was outstanding. She gave us top service and good choices. Loved our meal and the location on the water and in the trees is Magical!! Try this place you won't be disappointed.Guest review byMaria

The staff was very friendly, and the receptionist on the day of our arrival was especially accommodating, which made for a warm welcome. The hotel’s location is excellent, offering a scenic view of Maribo Lake and the cathedral, which adds to the charm of the stay. The room was adequately equipped, and the complimentary afternoon cake was a lovely extra touch that made the experience even better.
