The breakfast was wonderful !!!! The Kro was clean, quiet, comfortable and the staff were very helpful. There was a beautiful old Danish church across the road. The staff spoke English very well ( my Danish is only middling well).

The appartment is basic but spacious and clean with six beds. We appreciated the green surroundings and the kind personnel. Also, it was great that we could have a good pizza on site after arrival, since this is an Italian restaurant as well.

everything. This is beautifully curated, luxury accomodation on the Gendarmstein. The rooms were large, with dining or lounge area and mini kitchen, with gorgeous private bathrooms. We dined in at night and the food was superb - it clear that there is a love and respect for fresh produce. We ate our own breakfast in the sun overlooking the beautiful garden.

    Motel Lyren is very conveniently located just off the E45 motorway, it was the perfect place for us to break our long journey back to Hoek. The room was quite small but very clean, the beds were comfortable and eveything in the bathroom worked fine. There are no staff on site but the key collection and drop off and very easy. We had to male our own beds but that was no big deal for us - if that's a problem for you - book yourself into a hotel. We were very happy with our stay, it was excellent value for money and we would stay again.

    I was traveling with a bike and was planning to sleep in a tent in the woods north to the border, but due to a heavy rain decided to stay in a hotel. So for this last minute decision this was the cheapest option.
