We loved everything about this place, it was the best accommodation we had in our whole trip around Ecuador, from the location to the staff, the room, the surroundings, it was all absolutely lovely, can't recommend enough. We only stayed for one night, wish we could've stayed longer, it's a prefect place to relax.

The hostel was absolutely amazing! You could see Cotopaxi from the common area if the weather was nice. The hostel helped me book a horseback riding tour, which was so beautiful and an amazing experience. The breakfast had a variety of fruits, bread and eggs. I also had dinner there, it was such great value for the money and a great place to meet other people while enjoying a delicious meal. I can highly recommend this hostel, I will definitely come back here. Thank you so much for the awesome and friendly hospitality!!:)

This place offers the best beds I’ve experienced during my time in South America. Everything is spotlessly clean, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make your visit memorable. The food is absolutely delicious, a true highlight of the experience. The location is perfect for exploring the stunning surroundings of Cotopaxi, with breathtaking direct views of the volcano. It’s an ideal base for adventurers looking to immerse themselves in nature without compromising on comfort. Highly recommended!

If I could give this place more than ten, I would. Our stay there was wonderful and Paulina was simply the loveliest host I have ever met on my travels. Her mother also cooked us a three course meal that was delicious and enormous - and for a ridiculously low price. The Lodge has a variety of accommodations and a lovely lounge with wood fire. Outside are two llamas and two sheep! The location is on the road from the PanAmericana to the gate of the Cotopaxi National Park so is perfectly situated. Paulina is extremely knowledgable about the area and we were so grateful that she spoke English so that we could talk to her and learn from her. We had originally planned to stay somewhere else but a medical issue required a change of plans - and we are so grateful that we ended up at Rumipaxi Lodge.

The host was really nice. The food was very good and my son loved the dogs. It is a strategic location to visit the volcanoes. We went to Quilotoa, which was not so close, but much better than coming and go from Quito.
