Pilguse Residency is a large estate with facilities spread across several buildings. During my visit in July, I stayed in a small cabin with wonderful views over the field and towards the lake. The cabin was tastefully designed and furnished and made for a very comfortable couple of nights. The shower facilities in the main compound were luxurious, as was the restaurant, with excellent breakfasts and evening meals. Staff were kind, attentive and helpful.

Hotel in a historic building in a park right opposite the castle. Good communication, answered all questions, fulfilled all requests. The room has a small fridge, electric kettle, tea and coffee. Mattress and pillows are comfortable, bed linen and towels are snow white. Comfortable large shower cubicle, excellent water pressure. We were offered a cleaning service but declined as we were only in the hotel for 2 nights. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Excellent accommodation, we are very satisfied.
