It was a very authentic experience, from the space on the boat to the activities around. Abdo is someone who is truly interested in sharing his experience and the best of the region. He also helped us find an excellent option for a Nile cruise on a Dahabiya and made my husband's birthday a truly special evening. At Nala Narty, I truly felt like I was at home away from home. From the warm hospitality and kindness of the staff to the beautiful rooms, stunning views, and delicious food, everything was exceptional. The meals felt as though they were made by a loving home cook. I even had the unique opportunity to visit the farm and handpick my own salad, all made with fresh, organic vegetables. The staff were incredibly friendly, and everything was designed to make you feel comfortable and at ease. What truly stood out to me was the mindful and relaxed atmosphere. There was no rush – as you waited for your meal, you could enjoy swinging by the beach or playing with their friendly dogs underneath the acacia tree. It was an experience of tranquility and connection.

Just a no less than perfect hospitality experience. We came to stay at the hotel as a young couple on our honeymoon during a two-week trip to Egypt. The stay at the hotel was the "indulgent night" we allowed ourselves. Everything exceeded our expectations - We start by arriving at the hotel which is so physically impressive - on an isolated island and passing by in its beauty. The hotel itself is clean and sparkling, everything is even more beautiful than the pictures! The room is wonderful - it is huge, the bed and shower are great, and the private pool on the balcony is just a wonderful touch. The hotel staff is kind, pleasant and charming. They helped us with everything we needed and even more, and even sent us a cake to celebrate our marriage with us. It touched our hearts very much! I have no doubt that on my next visit to Egypt we will return to Benben, and I will recommend it to anyone who is thinking of visiting the hotel.

The property is very beautiful. It is not every day that you get to sleep in a room with brick barreled ceiling. We could see the high dam from the patio of our room. Very nice little boat ride across the River to get to it. The food was plentiful. Very quiet and peaceful. Loved it!

    The stay at Abdu’s houseboat was nothing but mind blowing.

    The stay at Abdu’s houseboat was nothing but mind blowing. I stayed in the houseboat for 5 days with my mother. We both feel like we gained a friend in Abdu and hope to see him again one time. He is so kind and caring! Not only did he help us arrange everything in terms of tours (to Filae, Abu Simbel, a Nubian village, the botanical garden and more) and activities (Falluca sailing, Zaraha sand meditation, bird watching trip, exploring the Souk, swimming in the Nile, transfer to Luxor via Edfu and Kom Ombo and more), he also helped us with his second smaller boat to get everywhere, get local products for local prices, assimilate to the local culture by clothing and customs, cooked for us (he also made sure all food was well washed), helped us donate goods and clothes to the local school, and assisted us in getting tickets for the night train from Luxor to Caïro, ATM withdrawals and simcards). We truly think he has a heart of gold and works with honesty not soley for money. His houseboat has everything you need for an authentic stay. Our cabin was spacious enough for the two of us and had an amazing view over the Elephantine Island. The terraces was facing the beautiful botanical garden on Kitchener Island. Due to the placement of the boat you have some shade in the morning and you can enjoy the sunset in the evening. If you look for a real experience and want to dive in the culture and day to day livestyle on the Nile, the boat is definitely something for you. We are truly greatful we’ve met Abdu and can definitely recommend a stay with him on his lovely houseboat. We hope to see him again one day!
