Amazing apartment, very spacious, comfortable and super clean! We were welcomed by Mr Ahmed and he was very kind to us and towards our needs. We had a big bottle of water, a basket of fruits and coffee and tea also there for us, which is always a plus! The apartment is located in a quiet street in Karnak, but close enough to a main street where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. That same street leads to the majestic Karnak Temple after a 15min walk which is great. Downtown Luxor can also be reached by walking or by getting a taxi (don't forget to negotiate a good price, even just for fun!) Perfect for independent travelers who really want to get to know places and it's people. I truly recommend this place.

Absolutely charming guesthouse run by Tayeb and his family, who were extremely hospitable and welcoming – they were kind enough to let us check in early after our overnight train from Cairo and to keep one room for a few extra hours on our last day. The breakfast is incredible – we couldn't believe how much food there was, and it just kept coming! The aubergines with tahini were a particular highlight, and we all loved the halawa spread; we also had dinner one night, which was one of our favourite meals of the whole trip. For our second night, Tayeb recommended an amazing local restaurant, which was our other favourite meal! He also arranged a taxi to bring us back. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt totally relaxed and at home. Would recommend without reservation to anyone wanting to experience Egyptian hospitality and to support a local family. Oh, and we loved being able to watch the hot air balloons over the Valley of the Kings in the morning! Great viewpoint from the terrace.

This is a real Eden by the Nile! I loved watching the sunrise and listen to the sounds of nature. The food was home made and delicious (they accomodate our special dietary requirements to perfection). Our every needs were attended promptly and we felt very relaxed in this paradise. We highly recommend staying there!

The villa was very luxurious with all amenities available. Very clean. Pictures of the villa are accurate. Staff was incredibly hospitable and correct. They even went shopping for us and we did not have to pay for it!

This is truly a retreat! The property is very quiet and relaxing, day and night! There was a young gentleman who worked here who was very kind, helpful, and such a hard worker! He would ask if we needed anything, would clean the pool without me even having to ask, and even went out to buy us some water when we asked where we could get some, an absolute gem. The hotel is gorgeous on the inside and it truly feels so relaxing. The owner messaged every night to ask what time we’d like breakfast to be served and even accommodated an early breakfast on our last day as we’d be checking out very early. The area is close to most popular tourist activities such as the hot air balloon and the valley of the kings (can’t walk to it but the drive is short).
