That's something that's not advertised well on booking.com, you need to know the layout of the city, to know that lovers beach is actually a peninsula and the only hotel that has a private beach there is triumph, there is a fast boat ride every hour taking the residents from the beach to the other beach in the peninsula. The staff was very helpful trying to go over and beyond to make our stay comfortable and easy. They try to help with outside trips and site seeing and also to buy the authentic merchandise of marsa matruh, the city doesn't have a lot of tourists from outside of egypt but I believe very soon it will be one of the favourite destinations because of the great site seeing which doesn't exist at anywhere else. I believe that 4 days stay is exactly enough to visit all the sites you needed to see and take amazing photos. I would personally recommend visiting again. For the facilities, the room is very wide and clean with 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies, both with sea view. The facilities of the hotel are good in comparison to the rest of the city. I would like to point out a suggestion for this hotel and for all the other hotels that will make the beach more enjoyable; you need to install showers at the beach side with the cute foot tub like all Asian hotels. Also, if possible extend a stone passage through the sand of the beach that can extend to the marina for water sports. That's all I could imagine I would add to this hotel. Great value for money and a great location! Very close to all the nice beaches. I would like to thank all the staff, especially the manager and Fahd who were beyond kind by letting me check out an hour later and later in the afternoon arranged a room for me to quickly shower off all the sand before taking the bus. Fahd found me an amazing and kind driver who took me to some beaches nearby at honest and reasonable prices. The driver even helped me to find an ATM and take me to my bus stop later. Please ask for his services! The staff recommendations were great as well: Ageeba beach, Blue Beach Lagoon and Cleaopatra. Highly recommended!

It was a new hotel the room was well furnished and very clean. It had nice facilities. The pool was good. The food was delicious and all my food needs were responded to promptly. The staff was so friendly and any problem I encountered was solved by the hotel management smoothly

The location is perfect, and the place is so elegant, and good hospitality, I like it and I will reserving it next vacation

1- The layout of the hotel is well thought after, gives you enough privacy as the rooms are in the form of a big bungalow split into 4 separate rooms, spacious enough as a family room (much bigger than average -60 SqM, can accommodate up to 4 people if requested), with sea view. 2- There isn't enough words to describe the beauty of the beach, it's turquoise water, less than average waves, the white and clean sand, beach privacy, being close enough to the rooms (about 2 mins walk from the room all the way to the water). Cabanas are available, but we didn't use, sand under water is almost rock free, no worries about any injuries, water is clear almost all the way to your feet. 3- The weather in this time of the year -July/August- is amazing as you can tolerate the heat and enjoy the sun in the same time unlike Dubai, Sharm Sheikh or other destinations in the Gulf. 4- The staff are really friendly, helpful and responsive. Everything we requested for the rooms or otherwise was fulfilled straight away without any hassle. I would like to thank all the staff in the hotel, I appreciate the manager's efforts (Mr Ahmed El-Tressi - apologies if I misspelled the name) to accommodate for us everything we needed during our stay. They have all gone the extra mile to make sure we enjoy our experience. Mr Ahmed arranged for us to get a complementary ride to the local city, about 15 miles away from the hotel. Knowing that we were a group of 10 people, this was very nice from the management. 5- The local city, Marsa Matruh - is famous for its locally grown/pressed olives/olive oil. Other genuine products such as mountain honey/mint, hand made soap, on site pressed tahini can be found in the city. 6- Breakfast can't be missed, a lot of options, good quality & fresh Tips: Use nearby airport of Borj Al-Arab (3 hours away) when flying to Egypt as Cairo airpot is approx 6 hours away.
