Amaia is a very good host and makes you feel at home. Beautiful garden to walk around in, with farm animals and leads down to the river. Within 5 minutes walk of a couple of bars for drinks and food.

We were touring Spain so stayed in quite a few hotels - this was the only one with a balcony and it felt such a treat. Lovely to sit with a drink and relax. gGreat size room and bathroom. Big bed. Clean and modern. Car parking facilities under hotel. Easy to walk to the beach. Lift just behind the hotel so you don’t have to climb the hill to get to/from centre. Caroline (or Christina? sorry!) on reception was absolutely brilliant. So helpful, recommending restaurants etc. Also, she let us have breakfast despite us being late.

    Aizarnazabal is a small village with very friendly people.

    Aizarnazabal is a small village with very friendly people. It has a nice bar/restaurant, small supermarket and bakery. We were there during the Feria, and got to enjoy the local culture. A great place to stay, and visit Bilbao, the beaches and San Sebastian.
