The church and restaurants are very close. La minoca restaurant is very good, prices and quality. The cooker Manny is the best, one of the owners is very gentil and cuban waitress are very diligents. Beautifull city, good to stay for a couple of days, cozy streets, airport is very close. The city is in the middle of the island, very convenient to visit other places. It's not very touristic, that's why you can find lots of tipical local places to eat, shops, but be ready to use the google translation if you don't speak spanish. People are very freindly. It’s a handy base to explore other areas of the island. Had I stayed longer I would have travelled by local coach to other destinations. The convenience of Arrecife is that it’s less than ten minutes (drive) from the airport and accommodation seemed more reasonable than the other areas. The port is nice, other than that, there is not much to see.
The port is nice, other than that, there is not much to see. Local people are very nice! Take a walk around from Grand Hotel towards the port where you can enjoy a drink and a meal in on of many of the restaurants there and to the commercial center where you can do some shopping.Guest review byHeiniGreece

Also, the rooms were super tidy, including all the kitchen equipment and the bathroom; everything was so clean - the host was also super helpful and welcoming, too, communicating with us on WhatsApp! The location is very good, because the area is quiet, but you could walk a few minutes and access a lot of restaurants and cafes. The check-in went smoothly and the host was welcoming. Underground parking was a plus, but the entrance was a bit narrow. Although we didn't really cook a lot, the kitchen was well equipped.
