A fascinating city, both modern and historic. I liked the layout of the city, the history, cuisine. Barcelona is conveniently located for making day trips to places like Montserrat, Girona, and the Penedés wine region.

We thought Barcelona was a great city to visit with plenty to do and places to visit but you could relax just the same. It is great to do what you want whether relaxing or gadding about. This is our 2nd visit and will probably visit again in the future. There were plenty of places to eat and bars for cocktails. The tourist buses are a great way to see Barcelona and the history.

Our favourite activity was a guided tour of Gaudi designed places. The metro public transport works so well so it was easy to get to different places around town. The people were very friendly and most could speak English. I will definitely visit again.

I love Barcelona and go back often.

I love Barcelona and go back often. I always find something new to do and love visiting familiar haunts. I find the city clean and safe and the people helpful and friendly. The weather was perfect for city strolling at the beginning of October but when venturing out of the city some of the attractions were operating winter timetables. Do go, you will love it

We were using Barcelona primarily as a stop-over, so 3 days is nowhere near enough to explore the city. Would recommend at least 10 days for a proper exploration / holiday. But there again, it's an expensive city! It's quite easy to get around once you are used to the systems. Transport Tip: Use cards, not cash, for a short stay, or buy one of the inclusive travel cards if staying longer. Coins are not generally accepted. 'Phone App. (TMBApp) was useful together with Google Maps.

The location was convenient, with a metro station just few corners away. The city center is easily reachable — only about a 15 to 20 minute walk. As for breakfast, it had everything needed to start the day right, simple, satisfying, and definitely worth the price. The hotel staff were consistently helpful and cheerful, always ready to assist with a smile. Thank you for a pleasant stay, Barcelona Century Hotel!

Perfect location for exploring the city center and the most important places in Barcelona. You have connections to subway, train and buses nearby. Also you have a lot of objectives at walking distance like Casa Battlo, Rambla and so on. From the airport the recommended way is to use the train that will leave you very close to the hotel on Passeig de Gràcia station.

There is nothing I did not like. Super friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic design rooms totally refurbished and very well isolated so no noise at all. One of the best breakfast buffets I have seen in recent years. Top service, probably one of the best 5 star hotels not only in Barcelona or Europe.

Nice and clean hotel in a quiet place. Rooms are tiny, but it's enough to sleep well and to enjoy Barcelona on day time. Cleaning and changing towels every day! The location is very good, there are bus stops in 2-5 minutes walk to go to different directions to the city center.
