I visited Benasque to compete in the Vuelta al Aneto trail race. The race started and ended in Benasque. Benasque is a great base for outdoor activities (hiking, trail running, mountain biking) with many shops providing gear and support for your adventures. Absolutely beautiful, felt like we were inside a Disney...
Absolutely beautiful, felt like we were inside a Disney movie. That being said, there was not much to do except bars/restaurants and outdoor activities like hiking and skiing. Difficult to get anywhere without a car, but worth the effort for the views of the mountains. There are numerous good hikes in the area, even if you don't have your own transport. If you do, even better. It's an attractive traditional mountain village/small town and ideally placed for trekking in the high Pyrenees, including summits like Posets/Llardana and Aneto as well as the GR11 and its variants. In my opinion and the people I've asked Benasque is the most beautiful town in the Spanish Pyrenees. I've been there several times. Families, friends, solo travelers can enjoy a lot of natural and simple experiences with the touch of friendship and quality all the hotels, restaurants and shops offer to the visitors. Tracking and skiing are my favorite activities there with some relaxing and social extra activities. Don't forget to visit the Molly Malone Irish pub. It's the most beautiful Irish pub in the world, for sure. So you ought to go and then tell me if I'm a lier or not.Guest review byGuillermoSpain

Jasinto the owner and chef of the restaurant is so kind, warm and friendly and treated us very well. He is very knowledgeable about the area and helped us about where to hike in the area. The room is very nice, cozy, clean and functional. The area is very beautiful . Breakfast was outstanding and very tasty. We ate also dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was superb.
