Berducedo was the very welcome end of the Hospitales Route...
Berducedo was the very welcome end of the Hospitales Route on the Camino Primitivo. Casa Araceli was by far the best accommodation in Berducedo. The hostess, Araceli, could not have been more welcoming or helpful throughout my two day stay. Her food at supper and breakfast was very good. She has a delightful bar downstairs giving out onto the large garden terrace with tables and chairs and wonderful views of the green hills - superb in the sunshine or, at least, dry weather! As you walk into Berducedo on the Primitivo, Casa Araceli is not well signed but any of the albergues will direct you. For the pilgrim or other traveller, Casa Araceli is the best place to eat and drink in Berducedo.
