What a gem of a hotel. It's not posh, but everything you need including a comfy bed, hot shower, a simple help yourself breakfast and a helpful member of staff. I'm cycle touring and a perfect stopover after a tough day on the bike. Even managed to wash my clothes and dry them in the late afternoon sun!

The restoration of the old palace was simultaneously grand yet intimate, with such care and attention to detail that it immediately felt warm and welcoming. additionally, despite the historic nature of the building, modern conveniences (eg lift, automatic doors, Wi-Fi) were all discreetly and unobtrusively present and seamlessly integrated.

The hotel was in a very good and quiet location. Excellent for walking dogs. The building is beautiful and has been renovated to a very high standard. The owner, Alejandro was very welcoming. To have a fridge/freezer on the landing was a bonus. We ate in a very good restaurant, La Toscana, a five minute drive away Borja. I would highly recommend this hotel

Wonderful hotel right in the old centre of town. All new facilities and very clean and comfortable. Staff really helpful and a great breakfast for 7E. Free, safe parking a 5 minute walk away.

Everything. We were blown away by the quality of the finishes, the design, the views, the comfort of the rooms, the staff and the customer service .. truly wonderful! As for the food, well what can I say - fantastic, unbelievably good - at least as good as the best of the best. We ate at Le Gavroche in London in December and the food here was at least as good. The wine was exceptional too - we couldn’t leave without buying a box and some gin and some oil too - what a place! We could move in!

    It is a family house rebuild to the hotel. Clean, with a garden where you can get a morning coffee with a cigaret. Pretty close to do city center, but already far for the famous Ecce Homo (still walkable).
