As the name says, this is a former monastery, located next to a 900+ years church. The place is beautiful and charming and the whole area is incredibly peaceful. We only stayed one night, but our entire family loved it. The area around is very beautiful, forested hills, but it is also quite close to A Coruna if you are driving, so it makes a very good base for Northern Galicia. Staff was super nice and attentive and breakfast was simply delicious (and quite plentiful). We left feeling we would have liked to linger more.

Staff were efficient and friendly. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean and there was very quite at night. You will need a car if you stay here but it is really close to the nearest town by driving. There is restaurant downstair, we had breakfast in there and it was delicious.

This was simply superb accommodation. We couldn’t recommend it too highly. Two double bedrooms with two bathrooms. Everything to a high standard and not skimping on the provisions.

A wonderful experience. A very comfortable apartment which is beautifully furnished. Everything that you need is included. It was great to find fruit, pastries and coffee for breakfast. Wonderful recommendations were given for restaurants. Incredibly welcoming and truly a marvellous experience.
